چین کی روبوٹک خلائی گاڑی ’یو تو…….ایک آتش فشائی میدان میں چلنا شروع کردیا ہے۔‘

چین کی روبوٹک خلائی گاڑی ’یو تو‘ نے چاند کی سطح پر واقع ایک آتش فشائی میدان میں چلنا شروع کردیا ہے۔

چین کی سرکاری ویب سائیٹ کے مطابق ’یوتو‘ نامی اس خلائی گاڑی نے چین کی سطح پر اترنے میں 11 منٹ لگائے اور یہ ’بے آف رینبوز‘ نامی ایک آتش فشائی میدان میں اتری ہے۔ جدید ترین آلات سے لیس ’یوتو‘ میں زیر زمین اجزا کی معلومات جمع کرنے والا ریڈار بھی نصب ہے، یہ گاڑی تین ماہ تک چاند کی سطح کا جائزہ لے گی اور وہاں موجود قدرتی وسائل کا کھوج لگائے گی۔

واضح رہے کہ ’’یوتو‘‘ کو مکمل طور پر چینی مہارین نے تیار کیا ہے، اس خلائی گاڑی کا وزن 120 کلوگرام ہے اور یہ 30 درجے کے زاویے کی چٹانیں چڑھ اور 200 میٹر فی گھنٹے کی رفتار سے دوڑ بھی سکتی ہے۔

Operational since November 2000, the ISS is well suited for documenting Earth features and provides an excellent stage for observing most populated areas of the world. Images coming down from the International Space Station are processed on a daily basis and include over 1.2 million images through Nov. 1, 2013.
